Greetings, Gentle Reader

I’ve been working with bodies and breath for more than 30 years, and for the last 15, I’ve been a specialist in Yin (or Relax and Restore) - approaching working with and through the bodymind in a way that helps to tone the vagus nerve as well as increase our window of tolerance.


Vagus Nerve

This nerve governs all autonomic (automatic) functions, such as digestion, stress response, dilation of pupils, and respiration

You can tone your vagus nerve through exercises, mindfulness, and other practices.


This brief video offers an orientation towards my perspective on yin, and since I mention Vagal Tone, I thought it prudent to include a bit about the vagus nerve here.
